Whether you have a full team, a few players or nobody to play with, there’s a place for you at the Rhine Flag Meet. The competition is open to every level, licensed or not, and to all clubs in the Rhine region.
Three ways to play
Committed team
- Go for the title of Rhine Flag Meet winner
- Register for the whole season
- Priority slot every match day
- In the season standings
Match-day team
- Come when your team is available
- Register at least 7 days before
- Can become match-day champion
- Can become a committed team mid-season
Free agent
- No team? Come on your own
- Register at least 48 hours before
- A host team welcomes you for the day
- At least one full game guaranteed
Registering a team
- Appoint a captain, the organisers’ single point of contact.
- Send your player list (5 minimum, no maximum) before your first match day.
- Add players up to the day before each match day.
- Say whether your team volunteers to host free agents (3 max per match day).
Slots for a match day open for booking 4 weeks before. A team can join the Rhine Flag Meet mid-season as long as slots remain.
Short of players? No forfeit
- Free agents fill teams with fewer than 5 players first.
- Loaned players: another team can lend you up to 2 players on the field, game by game.
- Merging: two teams with fewer than 3 players play together and both count as present.
- Slot swap or transfer: announced in time, an absence is never penalised.
Equipment
Each team brings its own belts and flags plus an IFAF-compliant leather ball. The organisers provide the pitches, at least 2 per match day.
